Project Setup and SDK Installation

Android

The most recent version of the mesibo Android SDK can be found on Maven Repository. You can install mesibo SDK into your Android Studio project just by adding gradle dependency and perform gradle sync (no manual download requires).

mesibo Core SDK

mesibo Voice and Video Calling SDK [Optional]

									compile 'com.mesibo.api:calls:version_calls'

mesibo Messaging User Interface (UI) SDK [Optional]

								dependencies {
									…
									compile 'com.mesibo.api:ui:version_ui'
								}
						

mesibo UI SDK uses google map to send location, and hence in order to use that feature, you must be having your Google API key in the AndroidMenifest.xml - refer on how to get your google map api key and install it.

You can now begin developing with mesibo. Be sure to update these version numbers each time mesibo is updated.

iOS

mesibo Core SDK

  1. Download and unpack the SDK source files: mesibo
  2. Drag mesibo.framework to your xcode project. Xcode will prompt you for various options - make sure to select "Copy items if needed"
  3. #import < mesibo/mesibo.h > in your project

mesibo Voice and Video Calling SDK [Optional]

  1. Download and unpack the SDK source files: mesibo-call
  2. Drag mesibocall.framework to your xcode project. Xcode will prompt you for various options - make sure to select "Copy items if needed"
  3. Right-click mesibocall.framework in your project, and select "Show In Finder".
  4. Drag the MesiboCallBundle.bundle from the Resources folder into your project. When prompted, ensure that “Copy items into destination” group's folder is NOT selected.
  5. #import < MesiboCall/MesiboCall.h > in your project

mesibo Messaging User Interface SDK [Optional]

  1. Download and unpack the SDK source files: mesibo-ui
  2. Drag messaging.framework to your xcode project. Xcode will prompt you for various options - make sure to select "Copy items if needed"
  3. Right-click messaging.framework in your project, and select "Show In Finder".
  4. Drag the messagingui.bundle from the Resources folder into your project. When prompted, ensure that “Copy items into destination” group's folder is NOT selected.
  5. #import < mesiboUI/mesiboUI.h > in your project

mesibo UI SDK uses google map and place API to send location. Hence, in order to use this feature, you must be having Google map and place framework and also your Google API key in the info.plist - refer how to get your google map api key and install it.

You can now begin developing features with mesibo. Be sure you update these frameworks each time mesibo is updated.
