The Technical Content writer will be responsible for creating ideas and writing content for website, developer documentation, use cases, marketing collaterals, blog, promotions, social media and other content marketing activities of mesibo and its clients. He/she will be also responsible for developing content for corporate communication and PR including press release and researched based technical and informative articles.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master degree in software engineering/computer science/IT or related fields
- Min 2-4 years of technical content writing experience with deep understanding of cloud technology platform
- Creative and proficient in developing technical content for website, developer documentation, white papers, marketing materials, advertising, corporate announcement, newsletters and press releases
- Ability to write terse, attention grabbing and professional copy that puts the message across
- Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills in English
- Must be competent with all Microsoft Office applications
- Effective time-management skills with ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple projects independently and as a part of a team
- Passion, personal alignment, and commitment to the mission of mesibo
Roles and Responsibilities
- Writing content for collateral such as website, detailed case studies, use cases, technology white papers, brochures, developer documentation, solution data sheets
- Gather raw inputs from engineering and marketing teams and convert them into content that supports marketing and branding objectives
- Edit technical information prepared by engineering teams for business purposes for clarity and content
- Assist in drafting RFP responses, bids, and other client proposals
- Writing/proof reading/editing website and other existing content – identify the attributes of the products/services and write with a clear understanding of the target audience(software developer and enterprises) with the right tone of voice
- Develop highly effective, original and targeted content to create awareness and persuade customers
- Writing research based informative and persuasive articles for website, blog and for publishing to other websites
- Writing key messaging for all marketing channels (social/email/web)
- Writing press releases and media pitch
- Writing other content as required by mesibo and its clients
- Developing content for internal and external communication initiative
- Support and guide team for their requirements of short messages and content
- Checking health of content and editing periodically
